Laut dem Dominoblog wird DAOS in der Version 8.5.1 eine Funktion enthalten, die auch die Netzwerklast minimiert.

In

Domino 8.5.1, DAOS is now enhanced so that it can EXTEND its optimization

between clients and servers, and among servers!!  This is intra-server

copying!

Das heißt Dateianhänge werden zwischen den Dominoservern auch nur noch einmal ausgetauscht und sparen damit effektiv Netzwerkbandbreite.

Wenn das ähnlich gut funktioniert wie DAOS bisher, ist das wirklich ein cooles Feature.
